The basic human needs all boils down to the attainment of economic and sexual resources, yet cognition and power are the core means through which we acquire and retain these two major resources. Advanced countries constrain power, advocating for intellectual freedom; whereas less developed countries condone power, circumscribing the cognition of thought. To advance cognition, one must learn and practice; to acquire power, one must be brazened and ruthless.
