Let me put it this way: A phrase that someone uses to rephrase something they said before that wasn’t comprehensible. You can say this before telling someone what you really think, esp. if you’re saying it as politely or gently as you can. （这么说吧，我换个说法……）
中文释义：当你试着解释，要你的听众知道你在说什么(make yourself understood)，你可能得换个讲法、或用个比喻，用Let me put it this way. (Let me put it like this.)，再接上你要说的内容，可以让对方感受到你的认真，更加专注你要说的内容。除此之外，中文世界中，我们习惯说话拐弯抹角，婉转表达自己意思，但老外们喜欢开门见山，可是，在直接了当的说出真话以前，他们也会用上这一句。
EG.01: “Let me put it this way. Life is like a box of chocolates, and you’ll never know what you’re gonna get.” (这么说好了，人生就像是一盒巧克力，你无法预知会吃到什么口味。)
